Scene 1
Showtime!
Lights! Camera! Action!
Standing on stage, with applauds that seem unending.
Fantastic!
This is brilliant!
Comments he could hear afar off as he took a bow and left the stage.
He lived for those moments when adrenaline pumps and he delivers what he was born to do.
Scene 2
The dailies! The dailies!
I have to read her column.
Fantastic!
She’s just absolutely amazing.
How can someone be such a wonderful writer?
Have you read her Best seller book?
Amazingly put together.
Her books reach nations untold.
But I ask,
In the shadows, unseen, unheard
Will that moment be priceless?
When no one notices
When there are no applauds
No lights
No fame.
Will you still give your very best?
Kenneth E. Hagin of blessed memory in his book “Following God’s plans for your Life” made a confession that resonates deeply within me:
“…If I am never seen of men, and if I always work behind the scenes, still I will be faithful…”
Oh friend! Let this be yours as it is mine!
So when there is no focus on you
When no one notices you
Remember that heaven notices, and give your Absolute best!
“For the Lord sees clearly what a man does, examining every path he takes”
-Proverbs 5:21
“And whatever you do, do it heartily, as to the Lord and not to men”
-Colossians 3:23
Martin Luther king once said:
“If a man is called to be a street sweeper, he should sweep streets even as Michelangelo painted, or Beethoven composed music, or Shakespeare wrote poetry. He should sweep streets so well that all the hosts of heaven and earth will pause to say ‘Here lived a great street sweeper who did his job well.’”
Let God look down at you and say this is my son/daughter, in whom I am well pleased!
Live inspired.
His Handmaiden
“… so when there is no focus on you, when no one notices you, remember that heaven notices, and give your Absolute best! …” couldn’t have said it much better. Word right there, Reni … thanks for sharing.
